We are very picky what we offer here at Bird Expressions, and we are confident that we strictly carry top-of-the-line bird & parrot products.  However, from time to time issues arise that require special attention.  Please find the heading below that best describes your circumstance and learn how your particular issue is handled.

My order was damaged during shipping!

The high quality products we carry are packaged quite well, so shipping damage is extremely rare.  However, every now and then an order can be damaged during shipping.  If this occurs, follow the steps below to expedite the process of getting replacement parts or a replacement product quickly:

  1. If possible, have the driver note any moderate-to-major damage to the box(es) your product were delivered in.  If you did not do this upon delivery because you were unaware that you were supposed to, that's okay.
  2. Be sure to keep ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS, because often times the shipping company will want to inspect them prior to granting our claim.
  3. Take pictures of any and all damages to both your product and to the packaging materials.  Take at least 1 close up picture of each damage area, then at least 1 picture of the entire portion of the item that is damaged.  Digital pictures are preferred, but if you do not have access to a digital camera you can take pictures with a standard film camera.
  4. Contact us and let us know that your product was damaged during shipping.

Once you notify us that your product was damaged during shipping we can have a damage claim initiated with the shipping company.  We will have replacement parts or a replacement product sent out right away, so you will not need to wait for the damage claim process to be completed before being able to use your product.

My product was defective when I opened it!

We strive to carry strictly the highest quality products here at Bird Expressions, so this is a very rare occurance.  If you do find that you are missing parts or have defective parts on your item(s) after delivery, contact us immediately so we can help you get the issue resolved as quickly as possible.

My product is fine, but I've changed my mind and I'd like to return it!

Due to the size and weight of most of the products we sell, shipping costs can be quite high.  We urge you to ask any questions you might have about a product prior to making a purchase.  If you do decide to return an item you've purchased from us, please know that the item must be unused, in the original packaging, and you must arrange and pay for return shipping.  If you choose to purchase a different product in our store, you will get credit in the full amount of your original purchase price.  If you choose to get a refund, the original true shipping costs we incurred to send the product out to you will be deducted from the refund of the original purchase price.

Please do not return a product prior to getting an RMA number and return instructions from us.  Any product that is returned without an RMA number will be refused and returned to sender.  Please contact us prior to returning an item.  We will be glad to assist you with the process by providing you with the return instructions.
